True Life in God Witnessing Events
At HAMILTON & MONTREAL

On a glorious, sunny, Saturday afternoon on August 23, 2025, in Hamilton, Ontario, a testimony of True Life in God was given by Yolla LaNeave, accompanied by her husband Sam. Yolla has worked extensively with Vassula on numerous missions.
The event gathered many faithful in the church, all eager to hear what Jesus wants to tell us today through His Hymn of Love entrusted to Vassula. We had over thirty people attend in person with another thirty on zoom.
Yolla opened the meeting by sharing her own journey of conversion through the messages of True Life in God. Once immersed in the world and its distractions, she thought she was happy by enjoying worldly activities. But reading the messages shook her to the core: she discovered that these fleeting pleasures were nothing compared to the true joy that only God gives. With emotion, she gave glory to God, who set her heart ablaze and transformed her life.
A Call that Spread Across the World
After her conversion, Yolla came into contact with other converts touched by the messages of True Life in God living abroad, especially Lebanese people from the diaspora. Together, they invited Vassula to come and give her testimony in Lebanon.

That same movement was repeated all over the world: converts touched by the Messages mobilized to translate the writings into more than 42 languages, organize conferences and pilgrimages, and invite Vassula to spread this call of God throughout the nations.
The Recognition of the Churches
Before delving more deeply into the Messages, Yolla recalled the position of the Catholic and Orthodox Churches:
- In the Catholic Church: in 2004, the president of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith confirmed that everything had been clarified and that nothing in the Messages opposed the Gospel. The writings received the Nihil Obstat and Imprimatur.
- In the Orthodox Church: in 2010, Patriarch Theodoros II, Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, attested that Vassula, born in Egypt and faithful to her Church, fully belonged to his jurisdiction. In 2023, during a pilgrimage in Egypt, he received Vassula and the pilgrims, and blessed them as well as her mission.
The Conversion of Vassula
Yolla then recounted the story of Vassula. Vassula lived far from God, with no religious practice. But one day, her guardian angel approached her to guide her step by step to the Lord through the Messages.
This spiritual guidance led her to see her sins through God’s eyes and to experience a deep repentance that totally transformed her life. The Lord dictated Messages to her daily, three to four hours a day, before sending her to testify throughout the world.
The Importance of the Messages
These Messages are above all an urgent call to repentance. As in the times of Moses and Jonah, God wants to save His people and is calling them today again to conversion before His return.
” shout! shout to the nations without fear: repent! for the Time of Mercy is almost over; change your lives and live holy, sacrifice and amend your lives before the Coming of the Lord ”
They are today’s manna, a spiritual bread offered from Heaven to nourish our souls and bring us closer to God.
In one of the Messages, the Lord says:
“ listen to My Cry of Love, listen to My heart-beats, every single heart-beat is a call for a soul ”
The Illumination of Consciences
Among the many events prophesied in the TLIG messages there is the “Purification Day.” Before the Day of Retribution God will give everyone on earth the grace to see the state of their souls and all of their sins as God sees them. This will be a tremendous grace of conversion for mankind. This is a message too that was stressed in Our Lady’s appearance in Garabandal, Spain. Our Lady’s messages of Garabandal are reiterated by Our Lord in TLIG messages many times.
“ My Return is imminent, and I am giving you constant signs to prepare you; Love is on the Path of return, I am on My way back to you ”
God’s Desire and the Second Pentecost
God the Father desires to bring every soul back to His divinity. For this reason, the TLIG messages also announce the Second Pentecost, a new outpouring of the Holy Spirit that will descend upon all humanity to renew the face of the earth and enkindle hearts with a fire of love and holiness.
The Call to Become the Echo of the Echo
Finally, Yolla reminded us that the two Hearts, the Hearts of Jesus and Mary, want to instruct us and form us so that we may become apostles of the end of times.
Just as Vassula was called to be the echo of God, each of us is called to be the echo of the echo, faithfully transmitting these messages of love and unity to the ends of the earth.
The Call to Unity
In concluding her talk, Yolla reminded us that unity is the essential call of True Life in God. The Lord calls all Churches to be united in diversity—not uniformity, but united in love and humility while respecting our diverse Christian liturgies.
The two keys to this unity are love and humility. Christ calls the leaders of the Churches to bend and to be willing to humble themselves before one another, so that His Body may no longer be divided but may shine in all its radiant beauty.
Following Yolla’s talk, Mark K. from Missouri, gave a talk to us on the TLIG Evangelization Support Portfolio. This Portfolio was organized by Chuck M.
Mark stressed how important it is for us, who belong to the TLIG family, to get Jesus’ Word out to the public. Jesus Himself reveals to Vassula the following TLIG message:
“ since everything is coming near the end now and the end is close, go and announce My Message even in every public square; go and widely publicise My Merciful calls ”
After Mark’s talk in Hamilton, the next day, we drove to the beautiful city of Montreal in Quebec, Canada where Mark repeated his talk on evangelizing. Much thanks to Reine Razzouk and Gisele Panagopoulos for organizing the Montreal event which was well-attended, with over thirty of the faithful, by our brothers and sisters in TLIG Canada.
