Remembering Jesus' Presence

It was a cloudy Wednesday in early December 2024, I planned to go grocery shopping after dropping off my husband at work. It was a weekly routine, taking the regular local route, that I always took. After a few turns on the local roads, I had to make a final left turn onto the main road, where the grocery store was located. I waited for a while, as there were plenty of children crossing the street. Then I waited for the vehicle traffic to clear. Suddenly, and unexpectedly, there was a very loud "bang", and my whole car moved & shook. I felt my body suddenly and forcibly move to the front, and then my head splashed back into the seat. It was whiplash. After a few moments, when I was able to collect myself, I saw a 16 feet U-Haul truck on the back of my car. I was rear-ended.

The police came, and offered an ambulance, but I said I was fine, just a little bit of nausea. Long story short, I was able to continue to do the groceries, and then to drive back home. But through some previous experiences I had years ago, I knew my symptoms were that of a concussion. All the symptoms were very familiar, and I just needed to be patient to recover.

Saturday, before going to church, I had a pulsating sensation after drinking a decaf coffee. But this pulsation was immediately gone after I received Holy Communion and also participated in a healing Mass, receiving the sacrament of the anointing of the sick on that day.

A week passed, and another Wednesday came, and usually I would be sitting with my husband in the church adoration chapel, while participating in the TLIG prayer group online. I was debating with myself whether I need to rest at home, rather than drive to church. But then, an insight came, why not come to Jesus, and ask for healing. The Adoration chapel would be the best place to do so. And that’s what happened. We prayed the rosary and followed the TLIG Prayer Meeting Guidelines.

The next day, Thursday morning, I woke up without any expectations. But I felt all the weakness was pretty much gone, and I felt symptomless, and very normal. No further sensations in my head. It took me some days to be reassured that I did receive the healing. And it was real! Thank you, Jesus!!

Opening the TLIG Messages randomly, Jesus explained:

“rest now in My Heart; please Me by remembering My Presence, honour Me, My Vassula;”

(TLiG February 10, 1988)

The presence of our Holy Mother, when we prayed to Her, and being at the Foot of the Cross, in Adoration, heals our body and soul! Jesus Presence is very real!
