Midwest North Evangelizes at "Pride Parade"- Act With Goodness Towards Others
The Chicago Pride Parade was scheduled for Sunday, June 30 in downtown Chicago. Initially hesitant, Adrian recalls how God strengthened him in difficult times. Preparing for the event with the Eucharist and Reconciliation, he felt fortified.
On the day of the parade, after early Mass, he reflected on the Gospel: "Do not be afraid; it is enough that you have faith" (Mk 5:36). He read a message from the True Life in God social media page, and it reminded him: "Act with goodness towards others...all I really need is love"
Act With Goodness Towards Others
daughter, peace be with you; remember, all I really need is love;
tell them1 to learn to love Me, to learn to adore Me; did you not know that at the end everyone will be judged according to the measure of his love? if you have tasted My Goodness you will act with goodness too towards others; open your heart and invite Me so that you get to know Me; Love is by your side;

Chuck recounts, initially scared, Adrian's encouragement and prayer brought him peace. At the parade, he reassured people that "God is near you and loves you."
Love was guiding them. Chuck and Adrian drove to the parade, feeling Jesus' presence. For two and a half hours, they handed out flyers with Jesus' image, sharing the simple message: "Jesus loves you and wants you back." Despite the challenges, many welcomed God’s message. Many accepted the "Come to Me as you are" handouts also. Despite diverse appearances, people were open to discuss True Life in God. Chuck said, "I felt like there was a peaceful shield surrounding us, to protect us."
We distributed over 30 “TRUE LIFE IN GOD INTRODUCTORY VOLUME 1" books and almost a hundred pamphlets and cards, including to businesses, bars, and boutiques open that day. They observed that the youth responded positively, feeling valued and blessed by God.
