In memory of our dearly beloved TLIG Prayer Group Member, Terry

-A gift from God-

It has now been over a month since we had our dearly loved prayer group member, Terry, fully united with Jesus.  We lost her beautiful warm and consoling voice, her wisdom, and her abundant and genuine love for each of us, which we cherished every Wednesday night in our online True Life in God prayer group.

Terry, truly a gift from God for all of us, joined our prayer group shortly after this prayer group was formed in 2017.  After joining a TLIG Reading & Discussion group, she expressed her longing to join a prayer group in 2018.  At first, she joined the in-person prayer meeting, but when the pandemic hit, she continued by joining the online prayer group.

“My beloved souls, you are My gift; your presence here is a gift to Me; your prayers are a caress on Me, may you be blessed ….”

(TLIG April 24, 1997)

The TLIG online prayer meeting originally started because of a person’s yearning to join a TLIG prayer group but being unable to because of living in a remote location.  Then, another TLIG friend suggested to pray together by phone, by following the prayer meeting guidelines, and slowly but surely, through the Blessing of the Two Sacred Hearts, it grew into a steady prayer group, enduring now for 8 years, with more people joining from across various states.

Terry not only joined as a member of the prayer group, but she was also willing to participate as a facilitator of the prayer meetings. Her presence and words always radiated gentle support, genuine appreciation and understanding of others, making her a skillful facilitator of our prayer meetings.

A few prayer members share their remembrance about Terry:

"Though I never met Terry personally, I believe her love for God was pure and genuine. Every Wednesday night while praying the rosary Terry always spoke with a gentle and loving heart for all.  I will truly miss hearing her voice and kind words but feel she is now home in heaven looking down upon us.  All those who knew Terry were blessed to have been part of her life. May her blessing continue to fill our hearts. "

- PAX, Mark (Iowa)

"Terry first was a prayer warrior and prayer buddy and a big heart for the world"

- Kelly (Kentucky)

" I remember how happy she was discovering her faith more deeply & understanding how near He (Jesus) wants us to Him! 😇 I will also always remember her gentle spirit & soothing voice. 😇+"

- Amy (Indiana)

“Terry was a very devout person, always dedicating her time to pray and read with us in our True Life in God prayer group meetings.  May she rest in peace.”

- Elaine (Illinois)

“I never met Terry but only heard her voice through our TLIG prayer hour and one email.  Each time Terry spoke, she would give a message of encouragement and support, and hope.  Terry even took time in her suffering to send me an email congratulating me on standing firm in my faith against adversity.  I felt a true connection to this dear soul.  I wept when I read her soul left us.  I prayed for her.  I wish I had met this one named "Terry".🤍🕊😥 Rest in HIM my faithful True Life in God friend. 🌹”

- Connie (Wisconsin)

"Terry brought a gentle and wise support in leading the prayer meeting, always very humble, and her presence radiated God's loving care for each one of us"

- Jack & Lisa (Michigan)

Her battle with cancer became a remarkable spiritual journey.  She was very humble and very grateful of receiving any True Life in God message which gave her encouragement and strength.  Her faith never faded until the end, and she still lives in our hearts.  She became an inspiration for us all who continue our journey on earth.

“we are united as in one single body, then …. I hold you, I seize you entirely, since you are My property and I arrest your spirit; like a kernel covered by the flesh of its fruit, I too cover you in a similar way; your spirit becomes embodied in My Spirit, in Me, your Christ; love Me, adore Me and pray, I am inseparable from you;”
