Giving Out Books at Stores in Fox Valley Mall, Aurora, IL:
On March 12, 2025, TLIG volunteers Chuck, Art, Babes, and Adrian distributed the True Life In God Introductory Volume I books to people at stores in Fox Valley Mall, Aurora, IL. Here are some of their shared experiences:
Chuck shared, "One employee couldn’t believe we were giving away free books with messages from Our Lord Jesus Christ. When I asked if she wanted extra copies for a family member, friends, or even her customers, she excitedly said, 'Yes!' She took five books in total. At another store, two employees each accepted a copy after saying 'Yes.' Three additional stores received one copy each. Of course, we heard many 'No's during the hour we were there, but when we regrouped after our 'mission,' we all felt refreshed and happy." I prayed to the Holy Spirit for courage as I approached a jewelry store. I greeted the employee with a smile and showed her the book, and her face lit up upon seeing the image of Our Blessed Lord. She took two books. At the next store, a wellness clinic, I browsed their products, and a salesperson approached me. After some conversation, I offered her the book, and she said she would place it on a table for people to read. The next store belonged to someone of a different religion, and the owner tried to debate us, but we left peacefully, offering a blessing for them."
On July 20, 2025, TLIG volunteers shared TLIG Introduction books at the Detroit Book Festival:
Unable to secure a table, they stood in an empty spot between book tables and offered the True Life In God Introductory Volume I books to anyone willing to take one. They received a variety of responses, but they were especially grateful when people took time to listen to a random message and showed genuine interest. The greatest joy came when a small group of young people listened attentively and were excited to take books!
