A Spark in Laredo, TX
Meet Maria del Socorro Earles, a new reader of True Life in God. After discovering the Messages, Maria felt inspired to let others in her area know about the Messages. She contacted a coordinator in her region and decided to organize a special "Witness Retreat" with Father John Corbett in early December 2023. Father John thoughtfully designed a two-day retreat with Mass, adoration of the Blessed Eucharist, prayer, and insightful talks on the TLIG spirituality. The turnout was fantastic, with around 22 people joining in on both days.
Post-retreat, all were buzzing with enthusiasm with many asking, "When's the next one?" The consensus was that the Holy Spirit was definitely present, a sentiment shared by Father Tom, a long-time friend of Maria and the group, who happened to be a supporter of Vassula and TLIG.
Excitingly, plans are already in the works to team up with Maria for another event in 2024, possibly more talks or similar gatherings. In the meantime, let's pray that this Texas spark turns into a blazing fire.
